Cocktail course at Copenhagen Distillery

Come join us in the magic workshop, where the bottles with colored contents in golden hues, are lined up behind the bar, and where the master stirs and shakes, like the most natural thing in the world. How does one really know which cocktails to stir and which ones to shake? And is it really true that the glass has a purpose or that Gin & Tonic is an artform? Step into a world seething with fizzes and sours. After the course, you can continue to explore the different tastes of Copenhagen Distillery's cocktail bar, where you can hang out for drinks and good times.

FOOD PAIRINGS - Copenhagen Distillery x Arla Unique Tasting

\\Cheese & Spirits: \\ This special evening with Arla Unika is dedicated to their line of specialty cheeses. Our spirits act as a flavour enhancer and catalyst for new layers in Arla's Unika cheeses. Come and experience cheese and spirits in surprising union. We will go through 5 pairings, each of which interprets both cheese and liquor in new ways.

Gin tasting at Copenhagen Distillery

Copenhagen Distillery experiments with taste, design, shape and colour, because it is not only the palate that needs to be entertained, it is also the eyes, ears, nose and hands. Put otherwise; here the whole palette of senses is set in motion. At the distillery, work is constantly being worked on developing new flavours and designing new bottles that can turn the experience of gin, whisky, liqueurs and snaps into new holistic experiences every time the glass is lifted to the mouth. Make your own gin at Copenhagen Distillery

Do you want to try your hand at craft distilling Ever wondered how to make a gin? Wonder no more. In this course, you’ll be taken through the technical ins and outs of craft distilling and the history of gin before trying your hand at distilling your own bottle on your own apparatus. With a welcome drink in hand from Copenhagen Distillery Cocktail Bar, you’ll take a guided tour with one of our distilling experts around the craft distillery. Afterward, you’ll taste a selection of our premium gin, to help you understand the tastes of different botanicals and ingredients. Now you’re all set to distill your own unique spirit, be it a bottle of gin, aquavit, or something completely different. You decide. With an alcohol base in hand, you select your own blend of herbs and spices and distill it on your miniature distillation apparatus - of course with our guidance if wanted. When you are finished with the course, the distillery cocktail bar is open for good talks with curious minds and a drink or two.

Whisky tasting at Copenhagen Distillery

The host on the day is one of our very experienced colleagues who have both knowledge and practical experience in the production of our whisky — and whisky in general. Copenhagen Distillery was started as a whisky distillery and in February 2020 the first drops hit the streets and was immediately named Danish Whiskey of The Year in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible. Now they are ready to present the whole family, and what a family. One of the distillery's experienced whisky employees welcomes and shows you around the factory, between copper kettles, fermentation vats and whiskey barrels. After that, you will be benched, and have to taste everything from the completely freshly distilled drops to bottled ready-made whiskies. There will be bread and mouth cleaners along the way so that the taste buds are kept crisp. Subsequently, both bar and shop are open, where there will also be an opportunity to purchase the distillery's whisky's, gins or Aquavits. In addition, it will be possible to buy a taster of Danish Whisky of the Year 2021; our First Edition. But only as long as stock is held. After tasting, continue exploring the different tastes at Copenhagen Distillery's cocktail bar, where you can hang out for drinks and cozy togetherness.

Small Tasting Room Booking

Max 10 persons Copenhagen Distillery is a vibrant and functional distillery. Outside the bar and visitor centre's normal opening hours, our tasting room can be used for your own activities. Our friendly hosts make coffee and make fun of you, and if you feel like finishing with a drink at the bar, we are happy to guide you in our cocktail selection both with and without alcohol. We can also handle team building activities, tastings, cocktail classes, and much more. If the suggested times do not fit in your schedule or you want to add one or more of the above activities to your day, you can send a request by clicking on “private event”.
